Academics
The University of Sussex is structured into four Faculties: the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine; the Faculty of Social Sciences; the Faculty of Media, Arts and Humanities; and the University of Sussex Business School. The teaching approach emphasizes interdisciplinary activity, encouraging students to develop a broad range of contextual knowledge alongside their specialist skills. International Students
The University of Sussex offers comprehensive support services for international students, including advice on visas and immigration, living in the UK, and academic support such as English language improvement. The university has a diverse student body, with around one-third of its nearly 20,000 students coming from outside the UK. The International Advice team provides free, confidential immigration advice to offer holders, current students, and graduates. Campus & Location
The University of Sussex campus is situated in Falmer, mostly within the city boundaries of Brighton and Hove, and is surrounded by the beautiful South Downs National Park. Brighton, a vibrant and creative city, is easily accessible from campus, with a train journey taking only nine minutes. The campus itself is green and spacious, offering a peaceful environment for study, while Brighton provides a lively city life with its famous seafront, unique shops, and thriving arts and music scenes. Public transport, including frequent bus services and a train station directly on campus, makes getting around convenient.
Career Outcomes

The Careers and Entrepreneurship team provides extensive support, including the Career Lab to explore options, build skills, and connect with employers through internships and community consultancy projects.
