Ondokuz Mayıs University

Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU), established in 1975 in Samsun, Turkey, is a prominent state university named after the date Mustafa Kemal Atatürk initiated the Turkish War of Independence. Campus & Location

OMU's main campus is situated in Atakum, a district of Samsun, a coastal city on the Black Sea. The university's 2,175-acre main campus features a range of facilities including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Engineering, main library, IT Center, student dormitories, a planetarium, and an observatory. The campus also provides medical and dental treatment facilities, an Olympic swimming pool, a fitness center, and other sports facilities.
