Fırat University comprises twelve faculties, four institutes, one conservatory, and three vocational schools, alongside twenty-one research centers. The university is recognized for its strong focus on engineering and technology. It offers interdisciplinary graduate programs through its Institutes of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, covering areas like Forensic Information Engineering, Biotechnology, Ecoinformatics, Aviation Science and Technologies, and Disaster and Crisis Management.
