Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) is the Qatar campus of Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts, a highly-ranked art and design school based in Richmond, Virginia, USA. Established in 1998 through a partnership with the Qatar Foundation, VCUarts Qatar was the first university to open its doors in Doha's Education City. It offers a unique art and design education that blends the innovative spirit of its home campus with the rich traditions of Qatar.

Academics

VCUarts Qatar offers Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Kinetic Imaging, and Painting & Printmaking, along with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Art History. A Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Design is also available. The curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary study, encouraging students to work across different fields and offering minors in Islamic Art History and Film and Design.
