About Leiden University College The Hague
Leiden University College The Hague (LUC) is the international honors college of Leiden University, the oldest university in the Netherlands, established in 1575. Students have access to Leiden University's extensive facilities, including its 4-million-volume library, just a 10-minute train ride away. The campus itself features classrooms, a library, study areas, a student-run bar called "Coasters," and social spaces like a grand café and a roof terrace.
While specific employment rates for LUC were not immediately available, Leiden University graduates are highly sought after by employers due to their strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and creative thinking. The university's Career Services offer support and guidance to students in their career development. The Hague's status as an international city provides ample opportunities for internships and future employment within international organizations, governmental ministries, and research institutes.
