Hosei University, a prestigious private university in Tokyo, Japan, was founded in 1880 as the Tokyo School of Law. While Japanese language classes are available for most English degree programs, Japanese language proficiency is not required for the GIS program. Campus & Location

Hosei University operates across three main campuses in Tokyo: Ichigaya, Koganei, and Tama. The Ichigaya campus, an urban campus situated in central Tokyo between Ichigaya and Iidabashi stations, is home to the 26-story Boissonade Tower and is close to the Yasukuni Shrine. The Koganei campus, located to the west of Tokyo, focuses on natural sciences and features intelligent buildings with excellent facilities for cutting-edge science and technology. The Tama campus, located in Machida, houses faculties such as Economics, Social Sciences, and Sports and Health Studies. All campuses are located in Tokyo, offering a dynamic city life experience. The Ichigaya campus is easily accessible by subway, with a journey from Yurakucho taking approximately 7 minutes.
