English-taught programs are available, notably through the Asia Bridge Program (ABP) for both undergraduate and master's degrees in fields like informatics, science, engineering, and agriculture. The ABP also offers exemptions from examination, enrollment, and first-year tuition fees for eligible students from specific Asian countries.
Campus & Location
Shizuoka University operates two main campuses: one in Shizuoka City and the other in Hamamatsu City. The Shizuoka campus, overlooking Shizuoka City and Suruga Bay, is about 25 minutes from Shizuoka Station by bus and offers views of Mount Fuji. The Hamamatsu campus, located in a major center of manufacturing technology, is approximately 15 minutes from Hamamatsu Station by bus and features state-of-the-art laboratories and the "S-Port" student support center. Both campuses provide on-campus and nearby student housing options, modern sports facilities, and host cultural festivals.
