The University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) is a public research university in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, formed on January 1, 2023, by the merger of the TU Kaiserslautern and the Landau campus of the University of Koblenz-Landau. It is the only technical university in the state and offers a diverse range of over 160 study programs. RPTU emphasizes a research-oriented approach, combining engineering and scientific disciplines with humanities and social sciences.

Academics

RPTU boasts 16 faculties, covering a broad spectrum from Architecture, Biology, and Computer Science to Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Process Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Social Sciences.
