Redeemer University offers over 35 different majors and streams leading to Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Health Science, Bachelor of Kinesiology, and Bachelor of Communications and Media Studies degrees. The teaching approach emphasizes a holistic and interdisciplinary exploration of subjects through its Core Curriculum, encouraging students to think broadly and develop a "Kingdom-vision." Starting in Fall 2026, Redeemer will also offer its first master's degree, a Master of Education.
International Students
Redeemer University welcomes international students from 27 different countries, with significant representation from the U.S., Nigeria, and Brazil. The university provides support services to help international students with their transition, including assistance with the admission process, cost information, and student visa procedures. All international students are automatically enrolled in a health insurance plan, with an option to opt out if they have existing coverage.
Campus & Location
Redeemer University is situated on an 86-acre suburban campus in Ancaster, Ontario, a town on the outskirts of Hamilton. The campus features an academic building, townhouse-style residences, apartment-style units, a three-story residence hall, and a student recreation center. While public transportation options directly to campus are limited, a bus pass for Hamilton Street Railway services is included in student fees, and a bike library program is available for local travel. Nearby attractions include Dundurn Castle, the Royal Botanical Gardens, and numerous waterfalls in the "City of Waterfalls," Hamilton.
