Campus & Location
The UNIMAS campus is situated in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, which has transformed from a quiet coastal village into a thriving administrative and educational hub, often referred to as the "Town of Knowledge" (Kota Ilmu). Located approximately 25 kilometers southeast of Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, it offers easy access to modern facilities. The campus itself boasts a blend of modern and traditional designs, integrating green spaces to create a serene learning environment. Facilities include a central library, auditoriums, lecture halls, advanced laboratories, and a range of sports and recreational amenities such as a football field, tennis courts, a gymnasium, squash courts, and even a bowling alley.
Career Outcomes
UNIMAS demonstrates a strong commitment to graduate employability, achieving a rate of 90.8% in 2023, surpassing the national average. The Student Development Centre (PPP) offers various initiatives to enhance career outcomes, including CV editing workshops, interview training, industrial training programs, and career forums with industry representatives. The annual Talent Recruitment and Career Exhibition (TRACE) is a significant contributor to these outcomes, facilitating job openings and internship opportunities.
